CAVAN TOWN COMHALTAS CEOLTOIRI EIREANN 70 YEARS CELEBRATION

Cavan Town CCÉ presents 70 years of Traditional Irish Music, Song and Dance. This marks the end of a yearlong celebration of our wonderful tradition in this town and beyond. Cavan Town Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann was founded in 1952 under the stewardship of Dr. Brian Galligan. We are one of the largest branches of CCÉ in Ireland with a vibrant group of musicians, singers, dancers and storytellers young and old. The branch performs at weekly sessions, partakes in Fleadhanna Cheoil and provides an opportunity for young people to express themselves and perform with their family and friends, or in concert halls full of people. This concert will showcase a vast array of performance groups including a number of All-Ireland champion musicians from our branch. A great night of entertainment in store. Bigí linn!
