JOGCLUB - 'CRASH COURSE IN AMBITION' - ALBUM LAUNCH BY JOHN O'GRADY

John O'Grady takes to the Townhall stage with his band JogClub, to release his upcoming debut album “Crash Course in Ambition”. A stalwart of the Cavan music scene for many years, John is delighted to share his opening foray into the big bad world of music making. Based in Dublin, John quit his job in April 22 to concentrate on writing songs. Buried in vocal harmonies, acoustic musings and the odd crazy synth line, John has put together a collection of tunes that are close to his heart. He hopes they’ll be close to yours too. John’s material has been inspired by and garnered from the many musical expeditions he has embarked on through the years. As a singer and multi-instrumentalist his new work centres around singer songwriter material. He was also founding member of the funk band ‘Ian I Brow’, Trad outfit ‘Whiskey you’re the Divil’ and Bluegrass Supergroup ‘The Shuckdodgers’. John has now started his journey as a solo artist and invites you all to take that ride with him. The first single from ‘Crash-Course in Ambition’, will be released in late February.
