Following great success in 2023, Marcus Magee & The Hollaw Men are delighted to have their Cavan launch night of their debut album “Rising from the Hollaw” at the Cavan Arts Festival. The band formed in October 2022 following Marcus receiving his first clear scan after a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Music has been a big part of the front man's healing journey and the health threat propelled him to finally share many years' worth of original songs with the world.
The band formed to do a one night show in the Townhall Theatre Cavan which blew up and resulted in multiple sell-out shows in a number of different venues across 2023. One year later and things have evolved - the band have now recorded their debut…
