The Ultimate Big Band Show is a collection of musicians who have developed a setlist from the heyday of the big band era, modern day composers and original compositions that really does merit the title ‘The Ultimate Big Band Show’.
Being a 20-piece strong jazz orchestra, the sound and energy that this collective creates is electric.
Directed by saxophonist ‘Daire O’Reilly’ and developed by Harper Lane Studios (harperlanestudios.ie) this outfit plays compositions from such legendary composers such as Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Weather Report, Louis Prima, The Rat Pack, Alison Moyet and much more.
The Ultimate Big Band Show promotes great music and great fun.
